Under its obligation and as mentioned in the Angolan Petroleum Law 10/04, of November 2004, Sonangol EP – the concessionaire – has introduced the NMF as the highest applicable rules and regulations for the fiscal measurement of hydrocarbons (liquid and gaseous) in Angola.
The NMF comprises of the following three Volumes:
The NMF covers the mandatory minimum lawful requirements that govern the Supply, Design, Construction, Installation and Life Time Operation of fiscal measurement systems in Angola.
